• Create and manage your account
• Provide the Glasshouse Memories service (storing and displaying your memories)
• Send important service notifications (password resets, account updates)
• Protect against fraud and abuse
• Improve our service

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal information to anyone
• Share your data with advertisers
• Use your memories for AI training or any other purpose
• Track you across other websites

We only use essential cookies required for the service to function:

5. Data Retention and Deletion

While Your Account Is Active:

Your data is retained for as long as you maintain an active account.

When You Delete Your Account:

1. Your account is immediately deactivated (you cannot log back in)
2. Your data is permanently deleted within 30 days
3. This includes all memories, account information, and associated data
4. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed

Why 30 Days?

This allows time to process the deletion request and ensure all data is removed from our systems and backups.

6. Your Rights

All Users Can:

• Access your personal data (contact us to request a copy)
• Correct inaccurate information (update in account settings)
• Delete your account and all data (use the delete button in settings)
• Export your data (contact us to request)

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA):

You have additional rights including:

• Right to know if we sell or share your data (we don't)
• Right to opt-out of sale/sharing (not applicable - we don't sell data)

8. Children's Privacy

Glasshouse Memories is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Glasshouse Memories is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using Glasshouse Memories, you consent to this transfer.
